My partner and I absolutely love this local diner! The food is always top-notch whether we’re coming in for a cozy breakfast or a quick lunch, it hits the spot every time. Everything tastes homemade and fresh, with generous portions and great flavor. But what really makes this place special is the service. The staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking, and it shows. The waitresses always greet us with warm smiles, making us feel right at home from the moment we walk in. Deanna is especially amazing she’s attentive, kind, and always on the ball. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers. It’s become one of our favorite spots, and we always look forward to our next visit. Great food, great people, great vibe!

My friend had been in this town previously and wanted to try this diner. The entrance was kinda non-discript but that all changed with the friendly greeting as soon as we entered and immediate seating. Our waitress was bright and bubbling with a great smile and offered us drinks. When she returned with the drinks we had just quickly looked over the specials. It's out of character for me but I immediately asked Chrystal for a recommendation, she asked a few questions about my likes to narrow it down, then said "do you like Philly cheese steak?" then told me obout their cheese steak burger. I ordered that and sweet potato fries. My friend ordered a steak sandwich and fries. The food was out fast and our waitress stopped by a few times to chat with us, OMG!!! our first bites were amazing! I couldn't wait to thank her for the suggestion! Both of us continued to be more and more in love with the food! Normally I cut the sandwich in half to take half home, I couldn't stop eating it and ate another quarter! I knew that the fries would reheat nicely at home. We paid our tab and gave Chrystal a hug, her due date is my birthday and we wished her well. I can't wait for Cathy to bring me back!!

You can eat at a diner where the food is delicious, but the staffing is no poor, you never go again. You can go to a diner where the staffing is so pleasant, unfortunately the food isn't up to standards. And then, there's those rare finds. A small town diner as this charming place. From the moment you step through the door you are treated like family. The staffing are all kind and welcoming. The prices are cheap, the quality of food as well as portion size are top of the line. If you're ever in the area, you definitely have to experience it for yourself

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Quiet al fresco section in season. The diner gets extremely busy on Sunday mornings! Friendly waitstaff and clean bathroom. In October 2023, Larry Sharpe made a campaign stop at this location.

I had an excellent pulled pork here Love the Good old diners like this one. Neat, convenient, warm, comfort food. Greek food here btw. Prompt service, regular coffee, comfy seats. Good job

Kind people, quality food. Classic diner food, my dear old dad was beyond pleased. This is a place where they butter the toast for you. Fast service. A clean, small, family diner. Top place for breakfast in the area. Very inexpensive.

Cozy diner with very good breakfast and comfort food at a moderate price. The best thing about this diner is their friendly and attentive staff! We go there everytime whenever we're in the vicinity of Wurtsboro.

Alpine burger was v nice, greek soup not as nice. Nice service!
